The 5 L’s: How Addiction Affects Us
Addiction is a complex issue that impacts not only the individual but also their friends, whānau, and other loved ones.
When it feels like you’re not in control anymore and ‘wants’ turn into ‘needs’, PIVOT is here to help both you and your whānau to get life back on track. This private self-pay service is available nationwide online, and in-person in Auckland and Wellington.
For most people, addiction isn’t really about things like beer, slot machines, or cigarettes: it’s about losing your balance in one or more areas of life. Anyone can lose their balance.
We understand that recovery isn’t a destination: it’s an ongoing process of change. Along the way, we work with individuals and their whānau and support networks to improve health and wellbeing, address underlying issues, and support fulfilling, self-directed lives.
Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, a loved one, or for your team, we’re here to help. Contact us today for a FREE initial consultation. Let’s work together to create a personalised plan for lasting change.
